She was rushed to a provincial hospital in Thái Bình and then transferred to the cardiac centre of Hospital E in critical condition, with blood pressure plummeting to 70/40 mmHg and heart rate soaring above 130 bpm. Doctors identified a failing bioprosthetic valve and an acute blockage in a coronary artery. Rather than open‑heart surgery, the team performed a minimally invasive two‑stage intervention, placing a drug‑coated stent to restore blood flow and stabilise the patient.
