Vietnam accelerates traffic data center and management project

The Vietnamese government is accelerating the implementation of a project to establish a data center for managing, monitoring, and handling traffic violations and operations for the 2026–2030 period, with a vision extending to 2050.

Following a review by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc, the Ministry of Public Security has been tasked with coordinating with the Government Office to finalize the draft Resolution. This resolution aims to modernize traffic supervision and management through digital transformation. The final draft is expected to be submitted to the Prime Minister for issuance before September 28, 2026. The initiative emphasizes ensuring synchronized connectivity, safety, and efficiency while preventing waste and corruption in investment projects.
