Vietnam advances AI and robotics integration in Hai Phong and Hanoi

In Hai Phong, a recent workshop focused on implementing the city's data strategy through artificial intelligence. Three major AI-driven challenges for 2026 were announced: platform management and data authentication, the application of AI in maritime logistics training and operations, and the use of quantum technology for smart urban management. Officials emphasized that successful AI implementation requires precise problem identification, high-quality data, and effective coordination mechanisms to leverage the city's strengths in industry, ports, and logistics.

Meanwhile, in Hanoi, the 2026 Robot Exhibition showcased the integration of robotics, AI, and automation into sectors such as healthcare, education, and manufacturing. The event featured 25 booths and STEM experience spaces, aiming to foster an innovation ecosystem where the state creates the environment, businesses lead commercialization, and academic institutions provide intellectual resources. The exhibition focused on connecting technology with practical needs to enhance productivity and quality of life.
