Vietnam accelerates industrial and urban infrastructure development

Vietnam is seeing significant infrastructure and industrial development across several provinces. In Bac Ninh, major projects are underway, including the commencement of the Phoenix Homes social housing project by LICOGI13FC, a nearly 2 trillion VND investment providing 1,660 apartments. Additionally, Gilimex Industrial Park has broken ground on the Nghia Hung and Thuan Thanh III industrial parks, totaling over 344 hectares. Vingroup has also launched the Vinhomes King Park urban area, a massive 41 trillion VND development. The province is also strengthening its position in the semiconductor supply chain, hosting major players like Amkor Technology and Hana Micron Vina.

In Dong Thap, IDICO has commenced construction on the Tan Phuoc 1 Industrial Park, a 470-hectare project with an investment of over 5.9 trillion VND, expected to create 20,000 jobs.

Other regional developments include Phu Tho Province's planning of a 3,000-hectare golf and eco-tourism zone, and Quang Ninh's expansion of industrial land and manufacturing capacity. Meanwhile, Vĩnh Long is prioritizing water security through the construction of freshwater reservoirs to combat El Nino-induced drought and saltwater intrusion.
