Vietnam and Czech Republic Boost Investment and Trade Cooperation

A delegation from the People’s Committee of Đà Nẵng, led by Vice Chairman Phan Thái Bình, visited the Czech Republic to deepen investment and trade ties. The group met with the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Confederation of Industry, highlighting Đà Nẵng’s strengths in manufacturing, precision engineering, automotive, electronics, automation, logistics, green energy and environmental technology.

The delegation proposed creating a Vietnam‑Czech industrial park or special economic zone within Đà Nẵng’s Chu Lai Open Economic Zone and expressed hope that Czech firms would explore opportunities during the upcoming visit of the Czech Prime Minister to Vietnam. Czech officials welcomed the proposal and pledged support in linking Czech enterprises with Vietnamese partners.

The talks aim to attract high‑quality foreign investment and develop a high‑tech industrial base and logistics services in Đà Nẵng, strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.
