Vietnam and Czech Republic strengthen public investment audit cooperation

The State Audit Office of Vietnam and the Supreme Audit Office of the Czech Republic have strengthened their cooperation through a working session in Prague. The meeting focused on exchanging expertise regarding the audit of public investments, large-scale infrastructure projects, and the application of technology in auditing processes.

Miloslav Kala, President of the Czech Supreme Audit Office, detailed the institution's legal framework, noting its constitutional independence from the government. Bui Quoc Dung, Deputy Auditor General of Vietnam, expressed interest in the Czech model of independent auditing and state asset management, particularly as Vietnam moves forward with major infrastructure developments, including a high-speed railway project.
