Vietnam and Denmark strengthen quantum technology cooperation

During a state visit to Denmark, Vietnamese General Secretary and President To Lam, accompanied by King Frederik X, visited the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen. The institute, a leading center for atomic physics and quantum mechanics, serves as a key partner in scientific cooperation with Vietnam, focusing on academic exchange and high-quality human resource training.

In a related development, the Vietnamese technology corporation FPT signed a memorandum of understanding with the Niels Bohr Institute to collaborate on quantum science and information technology. The partnership aims to connect Vietnamese scientists with international research facilities and enhance research capabilities within Vietnam.

The collaboration will focus on three primary areas: quantum materials, chip components, and photonic technology. The agreement includes plans for joint research projects, the exchange of PhD students, scientists, and experts, as well as the organization of professional seminars to foster long-term technological applications.
