Vietnam authorities conduct fire rescue drills at SSI Home and Agribank

Firefighting and search and rescue authorities in Vietnam have conducted emergency response drills at several key locations to improve local readiness and coordination.

In Hanoi, the Firefighting and Rescue Police Team No. 16 collaborated with SSI Securities Corporation to hold a drill at the SSI Home building. The exercise simulated an electrical short circuit on the third floor, testing the ability of onsite staff to activate alarms, use fire hydrants, and guide employees to safety while professional responders deployed command vehicles and fire engines to extinguish the simulated blaze.

In Gia Lai province, the Firefighting and Rescue Police Team No. 11 conducted a similar exercise at the Agribank Duc Co branch. The drill involved 30 officers and onsite personnel, simulating a fire on the second floor. Responders practiced using specialized equipment, including breathing masks, stretchers, and demolition tools to create smoke exits and rescue trapped victims, ensuring all participants were prepared for real-world scenarios.
