Vietnam authorities conduct fire safety and rescue training
Authorities in Vietnam are conducting localized fire prevention and rescue training programs to enhance community safety. In An Khanh commune, Hanoi police collaborated with local officials to educate households and businesses on fire safety laws and the installation of fire alarm transmission equipment. The session included guidance on using the ‘Bao chay 114’ application and featured a presentation by Gtel Corporation regarding systems that connect fire signals from premises to monitoring centers for rapid response.
In Hung Yen province, the Thai Binh regional Fire and Rescue Team organized a training session for nearly 2,000 teachers and students at Vu Tien High School. The program focused on identifying fire risks in school environments, such as laboratories and libraries, and provided practical training. Participants practiced using fire extinguishers, performing first aid, and executing evacuation procedures in simulated smoke-filled environments to improve emergency preparedness.
