Vietnam boarding school projects near completion in border regions

Several boarding school projects in Vietnam's border regions are nearing completion to prepare for the 2026-2027 academic year.

In Đắk Lắk province, the Buôn Đôn inter-level Primary and Lower Secondary Boarding School project is nearing its handover. The project involves a total investment of 248 billion VND for the 2025-2026 period. Phase 1, costing over 158.6 billion VND, includes administrative buildings, classrooms, dining halls, and dormitory facilities equipped with specialized teaching equipment and fire safety systems.

In Hà Tĩnh province, the Sơn Kim 1 inter-level Primary and Lower Secondary Boarding School is approximately 85% complete. With a total investment of 140.7 billion VND, the 4.5-hectare site is designed to serve over 1,300 students. The facility will feature 60 dormitory rooms, a multi-purpose hall, an indoor swimming pool, and integrated technical infrastructure. Construction crews are working day and night to meet the August 30, 2026, deadline despite recent heavy rains.
