In football, the U23 Vietnam men's team has advanced to the quarterfinals, where they are scheduled to face U23 South Korea. The team, led by coach Đinh Hồng Vinh, is expected to adopt a defensive strategy to counter the strong South Korean side. Meanwhile, the Vietnam women's national football team is set to face China in their quarterfinal match, a significant challenge given China's superior physical and technical standing.
