Vietnam coffee and pepper markets show stability amid global price shifts

Coffee and pepper markets in Vietnam have shown stability or slight downward trends as of September 7, 2026. Domestic coffee prices in the Central Highlands are fluctuating between 94,200 and 95,000 VND/kg. Dak Nong (Lam Dong) maintains the highest price at 95,000 VND/kg, while Lam Dong records the lowest at 94,200 VND/kg. Dak Lak and Gia Lai are both priced at 94,700 VND/kg.

This domestic movement follows a weekly decline in international markets. In London, Robusta coffee futures for September 2026 stood at 3,344 USD/ton, reflecting a weekly decrease of 4.2%. Arabica prices in New York also saw significant drops, with September contracts falling 6.2% to 324.25 US cents/pound.

Pepper prices remain stable across key production regions, ranging from 135,000 to 137,000 VND/kg. Dak Nong continues to lead with the highest price of 137,000 VND/kg, followed by Dak Lak at 136,500 VND/kg. Other regions, including Dong Nai, Gia Lai, and Ba Ria - Vung Tau, are seeing prices at the lower end of the range at 135,000 VND/kg.
