Vietnam coffee and pepper prices remain stable
Domestic coffee prices in Vietnam remained stable on September 2, 2026, following a recent increase. Prices in key Central Highlands production areas fluctuated between 95,000 and 95,700 VND/kg. Dak Nong recorded the highest purchase price at 95,700 VND/kg, while Dak Lak and Gia Lai both stood at 95,500 VND/kg, and Lam Dong was the lowest at 95,000 VND/kg.
On the international market, coffee prices showed mixed trends. Robusta futures on the London exchange saw increases, with the September 2026 contract rising to 3,550 USD/ton. Conversely, Arabica prices on the New York exchange experienced declines.
Black pepper prices also remained steady domestically, holding at a range of 135,000 to 137,000 VND/kg. Lam Dong led with 137,000 VND/kg, followed by Dak Lak at 136,500 VND/kg. International pepper prices showed no significant new fluctuations, with Vietnamese export prices maintained between 5,990 and 6,050 USD/ton.
