Vietnam Communist Party orders staff reforms and comprehensive legal document review
The Central Office of the Communist Party of Vietnam issued a directive urging a breakthrough in the appointment of officials, especially senior leaders. It calls for objective, result‑based evaluations, the elimination of superficial grading, faster replacement of underperforming cadres, and greater accountability, while emphasizing digital transformation of party management.
The Party’s Standing Committee also directed a nationwide, systematic review of the legal normative system. All party committees, state agencies and localities must implement the review, cooperate with the National Assembly and Government, and publicise its political importance, aiming to identify gaps, remove bottlenecks and improve the legal framework.
