Vietnam conducts fire safety training and industrial rescue drills

Authorities in Vietnam are conducting various training and drill activities to enhance fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue capabilities at local and industrial levels.

In Hung Yen, the Tien Hai Area Firefighting and Rescue Police Team collaborated with local authorities to provide professional training for over 100 village and residential group officials. The program included legal education on fire safety, identifying fire risks in residential areas, and practical skills such as escaping smoke-filled environments and using on-site firefighting equipment. The initiative aims to strengthen the “4 on-the-spot” principle to protect lives and property.

In Ho Chi Minh City, police forces conducted a large-scale emergency drill at the PTSC M&C industrial facility. The simulation involved a multi-stage response to a hypothetical electrical fire trapping 10 people in an office building, alongside a structural collapse caused by a forklift collision that trapped four workers. The drill coordinated local ward police with specialized professional units to test equipment readiness and refine rescue plans for industrial economic zones.
