Vietnam destroys 76,000 boxes of Eherbal detox powder, fines firm

The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Market Management Directorate supervised the destruction of 75,937 boxes of Eherbal’s detox vegetable powder, valued at VND 2.66 trillion. The action follows an administrative penalty of VND 580 million and an order for the company to return more than VND 3.28 trillion of illegally obtained revenue. The products were destroyed at the URENCO 11 waste‑treatment facility in Hưng Yên following a joint inspection that found quality violations in a batch produced in December 2025.

The detox powder had been heavily promoted by actor and TikTok personality Hữu Công and his wife since 2023. After the crackdown, Hữu Công publicly said the non‑conforming batch was withdrawn, sales were halted, and he cooperated with authorities to resolve the issue.
