The Vietnamese government has issued several directives addressing administrative, educational, and legal matters. In education, the Ministry of Education and Training is instructed to ensure that all students of school age can attend school, including those who do not pass the entrance exams for public high schools, by providing suitable educational programs and types of schools. The Ministry is also tasked with ensuring textbook supply and reviewing teacher staffing levels.
Regarding public assets, the Prime Minister has ordered the expedited handling and exploitation of redundant housing and land following administrative restructuring. Authorities are warned to strictly handle cases of negligence, evasion, or profiteering in this process. Additionally, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc has directed the resolution of difficulties in thousands of stalled projects by reviewing and synchronizing laws related to land, investment, and construction.
In legal reform, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau chaired a meeting to review the legal system, emphasizing the need to identify and remove legal bottlenecks that hinder investment, production, and business activities.
Separately, in Hanoi, local authorities have ordered an urgent investigation into a fatal fire in Thuong Phuc commune that resulted in two deaths, seeking to clarify the cause and assign responsibility.
