Vietnam electrical infrastructure faces safety risks and industrial expansion

In Nghệ An Province, construction activities in Tam Thai Commune have raised electrical safety concerns. The disposal and leveling of soil from various public infrastructure projects, including a new boarding school, have altered ground levels in areas such as Canh Trap, Lang, and Doc Bua. This elevation has reduced the safety distance between the ground and existing power lines and transformers, creating potential risks for local residents and electrical stability.

Meanwhile, in Ham Tan, proactive electrical infrastructure investments are supporting industrial growth. In the Nghia Hoa industrial cluster, stable power supplies are enabling businesses like Gear Meister Vina to plan for production expansions. Similarly, in the Tan Duc industrial park, managed by Sonadezi Binh Thuan, energy infrastructure is being prioritized ahead of full operational capacity to accommodate secondary investors, with 15 companies already registered for investment.
