Vietnam employment and urban development initiatives
In Ho Chi Minh City, recent employment initiatives have focused on providing job opportunities for diverse groups, including people with disabilities. A job fair held on September 23 showcased various roles, some of which offer competitive salaries ranging from 10 to 39 million VND and do not require prior experience, providing on-the-job training instead. Companies like Kim Viet An Security Co., Ltd. are recruiting security personnel, while Be Home offers seasonal domestic work with free training.
Furthermore, vocational training programs are helping individuals with disabilities integrate into the workforce. For instance, a student with intellectual disabilities trained in bartending at a municipal center successfully secured a position at the New World Hotel.
In Ha Long, urban development projects like Vinhomes Global Gate are aiming to create integrated ecosystems for education and career growth. The planned development includes a 189-hectare University Village with 15 major institutions and an office complex spanning nearly 2 million square meters to foster professional opportunities for young people.
