Vietnam social welfare and development initiatives
Overview
Vietnam is seeing various initiatives focused on employment, urban development, and social welfare. In Ho Chi Minh City, job fairs and vocational training programs are facilitating workforce integration, particularly for people with disabilities. Concurrently, urban projects in Ha Long, such as the Vinhomes Global Gate, aim to create integrated ecosystems for education and professional growth.
Social welfare efforts are also active across different provinces. Programs include corporate support for children of fallen police officers in Hanoi, long-term community work by World Vision International in Dien Bien, and climate-adaptive shrimp farming models in An Giang. Additionally, agricultural projects in Son La are working to improve nutrition and livelihoods for ethnic minority groups.
