Vietnam social housing regulations and new Hanoi project

Vietnam's social housing regulations stipulate that eligible individuals are generally permitted to purchase or lease only one social housing unit nationwide. Under the Law on Housing 2023, specific conditions apply regarding housing ownership and residency within the province or centrally-run city where the project is located.

In Hanoi, the Department of Construction has announced the Dong Truc - Thach That social housing project in Ha Bang ward. Developed by Tien Dat Construction Co., Ltd, the project has a total investment of approximately 325.2 billion VND. The development includes an 8-story apartment building with one basement, totaling 231 units. Of these, 207 units are designated for sale, with an estimated average selling price of 23.5 million VND per square meter.
