Vietnam entrepreneurs advance green agriculture and export models
Various entrepreneurial and agricultural initiatives are gaining momentum in Vietnam, focusing on sustainable production and green development. In Ha Tinh province, Ngo Thi Hien has established a dried betel nut drying workshop that employs approximately 30 workers. Following participation in a provincial innovation startup competition, the project refined its production processes and secured stable markets, including exporting approximately 20 tons per month to China.
Additionally, the Ha Tinh Women's Union organized a study program from September 9 to 12, 2026, focused on developing green agriculture and tourism from indigenous resources. Representatives from various cooperatives and businesses visited models in Ba Vi and Van Ho to learn about organic agriculture, circular economy practices, and the application of digital transformation in management and market connectivity. The program aims to enhance the management capacity of women in business, promoting modern and sustainable economic models.
