Vietnam EVNGENCO1 launches flood response and commissions Nho Quan‑Phủ Lý power line

Facing heavy rain, flooding and landslides in the northern mountainous provinces, EVNGENCO1 activated its Civil Defence Command, set up 24‑hour response teams, halted outdoor work in hazardous zones and reinforced vulnerable facilities. Workers were ordered to avoid contact with equipment until cleared, and comprehensive checks of drainage, coal piles, warehouses and power stations were carried out to minimise damage and keep generation safe and continuous.

At the same time, EVNGENCO1 announced the successful energisation of the 44‑km Nho Quan‑Phủ Lý segment of the 500/220 kV transmission line. The line links the 500 kV Nho Quan sub‑station to the 220 kV Phủ Lý sub‑station, strengthening power delivery to the Red River Delta and Hanoi, improving grid reliability and supporting the region’s economic development.
