Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design 2026 opens in Ho Chi Minh City
The Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design (VFCD) 2026 has launched in Ho Chi Minh City with the ‘Living Exhibition’. Organized by RMIT University Vietnam, the week-long event runs from September 21 to 27.
Following six annual editions held between 2019 and 2024, the festival has transitioned to a biennial format. This year’s theme, ‘Living Festival’, focuses on creativity as an ongoing, interactive process rather than a display of finished works. The exhibition allows visitors to actively participate by modifying, performing, or reinterpreting the displayed pieces.
The festival includes nearly 40 activities involving various individuals, businesses, and cultural organizations. Professor Donna Cleveland, Dean of the School of Communication & Design at RMIT University Vietnam, stated that the institution aims to act as a convener to strengthen the creative ecosystem and link Vietnam’s creative community with international networks.
