Vietnam forecasts hot weather during June 2026 high school graduation exams

The national meteorological service issued a weather bulletin for the June 10‑12, 2026 high school graduation examinations across Vietnam. Most regions will experience sunny conditions, but several areas are expected to face hot temperatures ranging from 30‑36 °C, with isolated spots exceeding 35 °C. Evening showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the northern highlands, parts of the central coast, and the southern provinces, particularly in the Central Highlands, coastal central regions, and the Mekong Delta.

Students and parents are advised to stay updated on real‑time forecasts, plan travel accordingly, carry water and sun protection, and be prepared for possible thunderstorm activity in the evenings. The exam period also coincides with a record registration of over 1.22 million candidates, marking the largest cohort in the history of Vietnam’s high school graduation tests.

The bulletin emphasizes the need for vigilance against extreme weather phenomena such as strong winds, lightning, and localized downpours that may affect travel to exam venues.
