Vietnam Health Ministry orders Shopee, Lazada to pull unregistered Slimaura Care X3 supplement

The Food Safety Agency of Vietnam’s Ministry of Health found that the weight‑loss dietary supplement Slimaura Care X3 was being advertised and sold on the e‑commerce platforms Shopee and Lazada without a valid product registration certificate. The agency confirmed that no receipt of registration (document No. 838/2024/DKSP dated 23 Feb 2024) had been issued for the product by the company Slimaura Care Vietnam Co., Ltd.

The agency sent official letters to the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s e‑commerce department and directly to Lazada Vietnam and Shopee Vietnam, demanding that the platforms immediately cease all sales of Slimaura Care X3, remove all related listings, and report compliance in writing by 7 Aug 2026. The Ministry also called for continued monitoring of functional food products on online marketplaces and warned consumers about the unregistered supplement, which was marketed with claims of weight loss, liver detoxification and body cleansing.
