Hanoi to host major international culture and food festivals

Hanoi is hosting a series of major cultural events in late 2026. The World Culture Festival Hanoi, held from October 1 to 4 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, features 50 countries and international organizations. Themed ‘Converging Heritage – Shaping the Future’, the festival commemorates the 50th anniversary of Vietnam joining UNESCO. Activities include cultural exhibitions, international cuisine, film, fashion, and music, alongside a street festival titled ‘Colours of Five Continents’.

Additionally, the International Food Culture Festival 2026 is scheduled for November 21-22 at the Van Phuc Diplomatic Quarter. Organized by the Department of Protocol, the event will feature over 90 stalls from embassies and international organizations. The festival, themed ‘Beyond Flavors’, will include dedicated zones such as ‘Pride of Vietnam’ for regional cuisine, ‘ASEAN Flavors’, and ‘World Flavors’ to promote international dialogue and friendship through gastronomy.
