Vietnam hosts major youth music festivals and charity concerts

A series of large-scale music festivals are being organized in Vietnam to engage youth and support national causes. In Lai Chau, the Viettel Y-Fest 2026, themed ‘Rhythm of Life’, drew over 35,000 attendees to the provincial People's Square. The event combined modern music from artists such as Hoa Minzy and Double2T with traditional cultural elements, including street carnivals featuring H'Mong, Giay, Lu, and Thai ethnic groups.

Additionally, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation is organizing the 2026 Youth Music Festival in Hanoi. Scheduled for October 11, 2026, at Dong Kinh – Nghia Thuc Square, the concert features a wide array of artists including ERIK and Vo Ha Tram. The event serves a charitable purpose, as proceeds from ticket sales—with a minimum contribution of 30,000 VND—will be used to purchase and donate national flags to border and island communes.
