Vietnam hosts various regional cultural and seasonal festivals

Various cultural and seasonal festivals are being held across Vietnam to celebrate local traditions and regional specialties.

In Sa Pa, the 2026 Autumn Festival officially opened on August 23. The event serves to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, while also marking the 12th Economic Corridor Cooperation Conference involving Lao Cai, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, and Yunnan, China.

In Tu Le, the “Huong sac mua Thu Tu Le” Green Rice Festival commenced on August 23. The festival highlights the local Tan sticky rice harvest through traditional activities such as green rice pounding competitions, rice cake pounding, and folk games. It also features a digital market to promote local agricultural products.

Additionally, the first Sin Cheng Golden Season Festival opened on August 15, showcasing highland culture through traditional crafts, agricultural products, and ethnic costumes. In Ho Chi Minh City, Saigontourist Group launched its 20th annual Mid-Autumn Festival celebration in Can Gio, providing gifts and scholarships to children in difficult circumstances.
