Vietnam-India trade reaches 13.4 billion USD in eight months

Trade between Vietnam and India reached 13.4 billion USD during the first eight months of 2026, representing a 25% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

Vietnam's exports to India totaled 8.05 billion USD, a 16.9% increase, while imports from India rose to 5.37 billion USD, a 39.5% increase. Key Vietnamese export categories include manufactured goods such as technology, electronics, and machinery, as well as agricultural products like rubber and pepper.

This growth follows the upgrading of bilateral relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Both nations aim to expand economic cooperation and investment, targeting a bilateral trade turnover of 25 billion USD by 2030.
