Vietnam infrastructure and agricultural development initiatives

Regional authorities in Vietnam are focusing on infrastructure development and agricultural modernization. In Ninh Binh, efforts are underway to resolve land clearance issues for major transportation projects, specifically the nearly 29 km parallel road and collector road for Belt Road 5. While 61% of the required land has been handed over, challenges remain regarding land origins, inheritance procedures, and the relocation of technical infrastructure. The project has reached over 50% of its construction volume, with approximately 1,723 billion VND disbursed.

In other regions, initiatives are supporting agricultural cooperatives through green transformation and value chain development. This includes training on food safety, good agricultural practices, and traceability using QR codes. Local communities are also mobilizing resources to improve rural transport networks and managing agricultural threats, such as pest control in cinnamon areas.
