Vietnam infrastructure projects advance across multiple provinces

Vietnam is undergoing various large-scale infrastructure and urban development projects across several regions. In Hanoi, the Tam Trinh road expansion project, valued at over 3,350 billion VND, is progressing following land clearance. Additionally, construction is accelerating at the Pham Tu - Highway 70 intersection, a 786 billion VND project aimed at reducing congestion, with a target completion date by late 2026.

In Ho Chi Minh City, residents on Tran Binh Trong street are relocating to facilitate road widening. Meanwhile, in Dong Nai, authorities have begun dismantling the Dong Nai Bridge toll station, which had been inactive for nearly six years, to improve traffic flow between Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City.

Other regional developments include a 10,000 billion VND initiative in Nghe An to revitalize the Vinh and Lam rivers, and a proposal in Can Tho to invest an additional 588 billion VND to operationalize a 160 billion VND freshwater reservoir. However, challenges remain in the Mekong Delta, where the lack of local access roads along new expressways has forced farmers to take dangerous routes to reach their fields.
