Vietnam infrastructure: Compensation plans set for road 770B and An Phu intersection

Major infrastructure projects in Vietnam are progressing through new land compensation and resettlement plans. In Dong Nai, the construction of road 770B, a strategic route connecting northern and eastern areas to Long Thanh International Airport, is moving forward. The current phase in Phuoc Thai commune involves the recovery of nearly 37,000 square meters of land across 41 cases, with a total compensation value of approximately 36 billion VND.

The 770B project has a total length of nearly 43 km and an investment exceeding 4,700 billion VND. It is expected to facilitate connections between industrial zones, logistics centers, and major highways. Construction is scheduled to take place between 2026 and 2031.

In Ho Chi Minh City, authorities are addressing long-standing site clearance issues to complete the An Phu intersection and the expansion of Luong Dinh Cua Street. A plan has been established to spend over 1,865 billion VND to compensate and resettle 67 affected households to recover 22,000 square meters of land. This resolution is expected to remove bottlenecks that have delayed the connection between Luong Dinh Cua Street and the HCM - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway.
