In Quang Ninh, the province is transitioning from logistical bottlenecks to establishing a synchronized system of highways, seaports, and airports. While expressways like the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau and Noi Bai - Lao Cai connections are progressing, significant delays persist in national railway projects. The North-South high-speed railway and the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong line have seen slow capital disbursement rates of only 3% and 5.1%, respectively. In southern Vietnam, the 58km Ben Luc-Long Thanh Expressway is entering its final stages, with construction reported as over 99% complete as of September 2026. The project aims to create an east-west corridor connecting manufacturing hubs in Long An, Ho Chi Minh City, and Dong Nai with maritime ports in Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
