Vietnam introduces new ideological work and practice directives

At a national conference, Trịnh Văn Quyết, member of the Politburo and Head of the Central Propaganda Department, introduced new strategic directives regarding ideological work and the study of Ho Chi Minh's ideology.

Key developments include the introduction of Directive 07-CT/TW, which aims to shift the focus from merely “learning and following” to “learning and practicing” Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts, ethics, and methods. This shift is intended to move beyond formalism and ensure measurable results that address the actual needs of the people.

Additionally, the conference addressed Resolution 25-NQ/TW regarding ideological work strategies in a new context. This strategy accounts for rapid digital transformation, the rise of artificial intelligence, and the expansion of the ideological battlefield into cyberspace, where misinformation and distorted information present new challenges.
