Vietnam invests in cultural infrastructure in Yen Bai and Bac Ninh

In Vietnam, significant investments are being made in local cultural and community infrastructure. In Yen Bai Ward, construction has commenced on four community cultural houses located in the Yen Ninh 1, Yen Ninh 8, Dong Tam 7, and Hong Ha 5 residential groups. The total investment for these four projects is 30.7 billion VND, aimed at improving community meeting spaces and providing areas for cultural, artistic, and sporting activities following the reorganization of residential groups.

Meanwhile, in Bac Ninh, the Van Mieu Park project is nearing completion. With a total investment exceeding 690 billion VND, the 4.7-hectare park is expected to be fully finished before September 20, coinciding with the announcement of Bac Ninh becoming a centrally-governed city. The park features several zones, including a square, playgrounds, and a traditional wooden temple dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, which includes a 1,100m² lotus pond. Some components, such as the temple and granite bas-reliefs, were funded through social capital provided by a private enterprise.
