Vietnam launches cultural and skill-based programs for students

Various community programs in Vietnam are integrating traditional culture and practical skills into educational experiences for children ahead of the new school year.

The ‘Sac Thu Tuu Truong’ program focuses on experiential learning through interactive spaces such as ‘Cham Hoi’, ‘Cham Sac’, and ‘Cham Su’. These areas allow participants to engage with folk games, create crafts using traditional materials like Do paper and ceramics, and explore Vietnamese folk paintings through augmented reality (AR) and podcasts.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Social Work Center organized the ‘Cung Tuoi Tho Den Truong’ festival to support students. The event included the distribution of scholarships and school supplies to students in difficult circumstances. Additionally, the program provided practical training, such as basic self-defense lessons led by mobile police officers and environmental awareness activities like recycling workshops.
