Vietnam launches national child protection programme

Vietnam has launched a national programme for the period 2026–2030 focused on strengthening child protection. The initiative also aims to prevent and reduce instances of child labour that violate existing legislation.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra signed Decision No. 1415/QD-TTg on July 28, 2026, officially promulgating the programme to address these social protections.
