Vietnam launches new musical and cultural initiatives

Vietnam is launching new cultural initiatives focused on music and national identity. The musical program ‘Thay loi muon noi’ returns in October 2026 with the theme ‘Dường như là mùa thu’ (Seems like Autumn). This edition features a variety of artists and will officially offer ticket sales for the first time, with 100,000 VND from each ticket donated to the Vietnam Fatherland Front's fund for disadvantaged children.

Additionally, the ‘Thanh am Viet Nam. Giai dieu cuoc song’ (Sounds of Vietnam. Melodies of Life) program has been launched for 2026. The initiative aims to stimulate musical creativity and showcase diverse regional and ethnic sounds. Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Huy Dung emphasized the importance of Vietnam developing its own unique musical voice to participate confidently in the global community.
