Vietnam live hog prices rise as Hanoi and Hung Yen hit 60,000 VND/kg

Live hog prices in Vietnam showed upward trends in early September, with prices in several provinces rising by 1,000 VND/kg. Notably, Hanoi and Hung Yen reached the 60,000 VND/kg mark, the highest in the country.

In the Northern region, prices fluctuated between 58,000 and 60,000 VND/kg. Ninh Binh also saw an increase to 59,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the Central and Central Highlands regions remained stable, with prices ranging from 57,000 to 58,000 VND/kg.

In the Southern region, Dong Thap, An Giang, and Can Tho recorded increases of 1,000 VND/kg, bringing their prices to 58,000 VND/kg. Overall, national live hog prices are currently moving within the 57,000 to 60,000 VND/kg range.
