Vietnam lottery winners claim multi-billion VND jackpots

Several lottery winners in Vietnam have recently claimed significant prizes from various Southern lottery draws. In Vinh Long province, a group of five housewives shared a windfall after one woman purchased six tickets during a gathering and distributed them to her friends. All six tickets won the jackpot, with the woman holding two tickets receiving 3.6 billion VND after taxes.

In the same region, a man in Tieu Can commune won two jackpot tickets worth 4 billion VND (before tax) after purchasing them from a street vendor while at a hospital.

Additionally, in Ho Chi Minh City, two individuals won a combined 2.2 billion VND. One winner, a factory worker, secured a 2 billion VND jackpot from the Tay Ninh draw, while another recipient won a 200 million VND consolation prize.
