Vietnam Ministry of Education Announces 2026 Scholarship Majors and Exam Release Schedule

The Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision No. 1826 designating 111 majors across 15 key scientific, technical and strategic technology groups for government scholarship funding, with monthly amounts up to 8.4 million VND. In parallel, the ministry confirmed that high‑school graduation exam results for 2026 will be published at 08:00 on 1 July, a key milestone for more than 1.2 million candidates proceeding to university and college admissions.

Universities across the country released the minimum admission scores for the 2026‑2027 academic year. In Ho Chi Minh City, secondary schools held meetings with parents and students to guide the selection of subject combinations for Grade 10 entry, stressing career orientation, the inclusion of computer‑technology modules, and the use of an online enrollment portal (https://ts10.hcm.edu.vn) during the 15 July – 15 July window.
