Vietnam Ministry of Education ensures sufficient textbook supply

The Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (MoET) has reported that the supply of textbooks for the 2026-2027 school year is now sufficient. Following intensive efforts by the Government and MoET, the remaining shortage of 776,259 books was fully addressed by September 24, 2026.

To meet emerging demands from students and school libraries, the Vietnam Education Publishing House (NXBGDVN) is scheduled to print and supply approximately 2,995,949 additional copies by the end of September. This reserve is intended to handle unexpected needs and provide a buffer for potential natural disasters or floods.

MoET has instructed provincial Departments of Education and Training to guide schools in informing parents and students about available purchase locations, including physical stores and online platforms. For online orders placed through the NXBGDVN system, the publisher aims to ensure delivery within 24 hours of receiving a valid order.
