Tran Thanh Man begins official visits to South Korea and Mongolia

Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and his spouse have commenced an official visit to South Korea and Mongolia from September 6 to 11, 2026. The visit follows invitations from South Korean National Assembly Speaker Cho Jeong Sik and Mongolian National Assembly Speaker Sandag Byambatsogt.

In South Korea, the delegation has engaged in high-level meetings to strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Discussions have focused on enhancing legislative cooperation, economic ties, and emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, semiconductor technology, and renewable energy. Chairman Man also met with members of the Vietnamese innovation network and experts residing in South Korea to discuss digital transformation and AI development.

The visit to Mongolia aims to deepen the Comprehensive Partnership between the two nations, focusing on political trust and legislative exchange. This mission underscores Vietnam's commitment to multilateral diplomacy and its desire to implement the foreign policy directions established by the 14th National Party Congress.
