Vietnam officials address bottlenecks in key power grid projects
Authorities are working to resolve bottlenecks in key electricity projects in the former Hoa Binh area to ensure stable power supply for industrial clusters and large-scale urban developments.
Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary Pham Dai Duong has emphasized that key power projects must not be delayed due to subjective causes. Local authorities have been instructed to proactively handle issues within their jurisdiction to prevent local obstacles from affecting overall progress.
The Northern Power Corporation reports that 48 110kV grid projects and one 220kV project are being implemented in Phu Tho, with a total investment of 5,358 billion VND. Five urgent 110kV projects are currently underway, including the Yen Thuy 110kV line and substation, the Ky Son - Luong Son 110kV line, and projects in Tan Lac and Kim Boi.
While most site clearance work is progressing, some challenges remain. The Ky Son - Luong Son 110kV line faces planning overlap issues in Luong Son commune, and the Kim Boi 110kV project is facing delays due to a single household in Cao Duong commune that has not yet agreed to site clearance.
