Vietnam officials tasked with material supply and voter petition resolution

The Vietnamese government has issued directives to provincial leaders regarding the management of construction materials and the resolution of voter petitions.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc has instructed provincial chairpersons to take full responsibility for ensuring the supply of common construction materials for key national projects. This follows a Ministry of Industry and Trade decision to coordinate material distribution between provinces. Local authorities must monitor supply and demand, report difficulties to higher authorities, and ensure that project timelines and quality are maintained.

Additionally, the Prime Minister has directed ministers and provincial chairpersons to proactively address concerns and petitions raised by voters. Authorities are required to implement effective solutions, ensure the quality and accuracy of their responses, and adhere to established timelines. Reports on the progress of these resolutions must be submitted to the National Assembly Standing Committee and the Prime Minister by November 30, 2026.
