Vietnam construction material supply coordination
Overview
To support national key projects for the 2026-2030 period, the Vietnamese government has initiated a plan to coordinate the supply of common construction materials between provinces. The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment identified six areas—Hanoi, Hung Yen, Tay Ninh, Ca Mau, Can Tho, and Ninh Binh—that are unable to balance their own material supplies.
Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc tasked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to lead coordination efforts, including assessing material mine reserves. Following this, directives were issued to provincial chairpersons to take full responsibility for ensuring supply, monitoring demand, and maintaining project timelines and quality. Local authorities are required to report any difficulties to higher government levels.
