Vietnam PM Le Minh Hung calls for continued care of revolutionary veterans

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung visited the Kim Bang War Invalids Rehabilitation Centre in Ninh Binh, marking the 79th anniversary of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day. He urged relevant ministries and the province to strengthen support for people with revolutionary merits, delivering gifts to veterans and disabled soldiers and praising the centre’s work.

Hung highlighted the state’s long‑standing policy of gratitude, noting that more than 1,300 martyr remains have been recovered nationwide and DNA sampling of unidentified war martyrs in Quang Ninh is complete. He called for regular medical checks, better coordination with the Ministry of Health and continued expansion of social benefits for veterans and their families.
