Vietnam police assist citizens in recovering accidental bank transfers

Police in Vietnam have successfully assisted citizens in recovering significant sums of money following accidental bank transfers.

In Gia Lai province, Nguyen Thi My Ny recovered 25.1 million VND within 24 hours after reporting an accidental transfer to the Hoai Nhon Dong Ward Police. Authorities coordinated with relevant agencies to verify the transaction and contact the recipient to facilitate the return of the funds.

In Hung Yen province, the Trieu Viet Vuong Commune Police assisted Nguyen Thi Xuyen in recovering 130 million VND. After the error was reported, the recipient, Le Tien Anh, cooperated with authorities and voluntarily returned the full amount. The handover was conducted officially to ensure legal compliance and protect the rights of both parties.
