Vietnam agricultural markets: Coffee prices drop as pepper and pork remain stable

Agricultural commodity markets in Vietnam showed varied stability and movement during late September 2026.

Coffee prices in domestic markets have seen a downward trend, dropping below the 94,000 VND/kg threshold. In the Central Highlands, prices range between 93,000 and 93,800 VND/kg, with Dak Nong recording the highest rates. This domestic decline contrasts with some international market movements where Arabica and Robusta saw technical fluctuations.

Pepper prices remain stable, fluctuating between 137,000 and 141,000 VND/kg, with Lam Dong maintaining the highest purchase prices. Meanwhile, the livestock sector reports steady prices for pork, with domestic rates ranging from 57,000 to 60,000 VND/kg across various regions, with Northern provinces generally seeing higher values.

In the rubber sector, domestic prices at major enterprises remain unchanged, while international markets like TOCOM and SHFE showed mixed results. Additionally, rice prices in the Mekong Delta have remained stable, with export raw materials such as CL 555 and IR 504 trading within consistent ranges.
